The participants of the Andean Region Group agree that:
- The project is important to achieve the targets of 2030.
- Experiences and the institutions that they represent can participate positively in the proposals and objectives of the project.
- Due to a variety of methodological and pedagogical perspectives, there exist different proposals in the region that of interest to the global project.
- It is important to interchange experiences and know better those of others in the world involved in the project in order to advance collectively.
- The institutional issue regarding resources is important and needs special attention
- Three years for the project is sufficient to gather results for the international, national and local communities.
- It is important to establish links between formal schooling systems and informal/non-formal education in relation to indigenous communities.
- The analysis of the context and of each territory is culturally fundamental in order to provide an education that empowers people to obtain autonomy.
- The educational authorities should take leadership for each project but should link with other faculties, departments and programs, and with the indigenous communities/territories so that the research is multi/transdisciplinary.
10.The new technologies for communication are essential for the work to be carried out with indigenous communities.
