How can social change be achieved through design? Which cooperate forms and strategies of design are needed? How to get to a more society-oriented way of designing?

Social and participatory design can help to develop products tailored to the needs of the citizens. More and more designers create products and services with a positive impact on society. They are challenged to work towards complex problems in collaboration with many stakeholders during the whole design process.

This evening will debate the designer’s role in society and present concrete social design projects as well as helpful tools and methods addressing issues along the way.
