  • About the Project

The informal network "Learning for Sustainable Development in UNESCO Biosphere Reserves" is thought as a “Community of Practice”, a network of people from diverse backgrounds with shared interests and practices. Through the virtual interaction on this platform, its members learn from each other, and create opportunities to develop themselves personally and professionally through sharing information and experiences within the group.

Provided the active involvement of all members, our planned “Community of Practice” for Learning for Sustainable Development in UNESCO Biosphere Reserves will foster interaction between different actors within specific BRs and beyond, in order to generate and share knowledge relevant to BRs, both internally and with other BRs on an international level.
