MCC supports relief, development and peace projects in more than 50 countries, including Ukraine, and has over 1,000 workers around the world.

Mission: "Mennonite Central Committee (MCC), a worldwide ministry of anabaptist churches, shares God's love and compassion for all in the name of Christ by responding to basic human needs and working for peace and justice."

MCC focuses on:

  1. Caring for the lives and futures of uprooted and other vulnerable people.
  2. Providing food, water and shelter first in times of hunger, disaster and conflict, then education and ways to earn income.
  3. Working with churches and communities to prevent violence and promote peace and justice.
  4. Investing in opportunities for young people to serve in Canada, the United States, and around the wrold.

MCC's office in Ukraine, which is interested in participating in WeChange, works exclusively in Ukraine and has 10 employees (including volunteers/interns).
